We (me and my Love) are taking a big step. Within 6 weeks we are moving to our new house. A grown-ups house. With stairs (two even) and a garden (again two, front and back). So that serious business. Since we are coming from an apartment and sold part of the furniture we had there, we need a new couch, curtains, closets, lamps. We need to think about colors, paint, flooring, In short: we need a plan and we need to take action!  

So we are reading magazines, tearing out pictures and ideas. We are searching online, reading blogs and looking at other peoples houses (Funda is also great for inspiration;-) And many furniture stores got paid a visit by us. The journal I keep to collect ideas is growing bigger every day.

When I was a little girl I was already regularly moving furniture around my bedroom. And my doll house was my favorite toy. Later on I started taking pictures of my rooms, collecting books and magazines about architecture, decorating and interior design. And although I made a small step toward a future in Architecture I finally choose a totally different route.

Being caught up by my day job and every day life I slightly forgot how happy it makes me to look at houses, taking and collecting pictures of beautiful rooms and furniture, creating moodboards, and so on.

So I can’t think of a better moment to start blogging about interior design and all related to that. Time for a new start.
